Welcome to Pine Lake!
Welcome to Pine Lake—DeKalb County’s smallest city and one of its most unique. As Mayor, I’m proud to lead a community where art, nature, and neighborly connection are at the heart of everything we do.
With fewer than 800 residents, Pine Lake offers the charm of a small town with the creative energy and diversity of a much larger place. Known as “Arts’ Natural Habitat,” our city is a haven for artists, environmentalists, and anyone seeking a deeper sense of community and place. Our lake, wetlands, and green spaces provide not only beauty but also models of sustainable, nature-based living.
In a world facing rapid environmental, social, and economic shifts, Pine Lake stands as proof that small cities can be powerful forces for change. We are nimble, resilient, and community-led. Our local government works hand in hand with residents to implement solutions that are creative, sustainable, and just—whether it’s designing nature-based infrastructure, supporting the arts, or cultivating inclusive civic spaces.
Whether you're visiting, relocating, or just curious, I invite you to experience Pine Lake for yourself—and see what’s possible when a city puts people, nature, and creativity first.
With Gratitude, Brandy Hall, Mayor, City of Pine Lake, GA
