The Pine Lake Association of Involved Neighbors (PLAIN) facilitates community inclusiveness, sustainability, awareness, investment, and involvement to promote a safe, vibrant neighborhood.
The primary goals of the PLAIN are to:
- Build interest of residents in the welfare of the neighborhood
- Support the improvement of the neighborhood
- Create awareness of issues that affect all residents of the neighborhood
- Encourage participation of residents in neighborhood gatherings and initiatives
PLAIN is an integral part of many of the activities happening in Pine Lake. PLAIN sponsors monthly community breakfasts, chili cook-offs, holiday events, ice cream socials, neighborhood cleanups and much more, all with the idea of increasing neighborliness and improving the city.
Meetings are held every third Thursday at 7:00 pm in the Beach House. Feel free to join us and help us make things happen in Pine Lake.
The organization provides holiday baskets at the end of the year, and is always available to help when the need arises.
To keep you posted on all that activity, PLAIN publishes and distributes a newsletter, PLAINTalk, to all Pine Lake residents via email and posts.
