arts-first city. SEED will create education, economic, and community
development opportunities through programming, policy, and events— establishing
enduring appreciation, protection, and nurturing of the natural world that
contains the city.

2023 Lake Litter Study
Seed is conducting a study, to gather data that can be used to assist the City in setting policy for the use of the lake and park. Volunteers will pick up trash around the lake, then photograph, count, and categorize it. The results will be reported on a simple form, then aggregated to identify information about usage patterns.

The Pine Lake Water Conservation Artwork Contest
 The purpose of the contest is to provide young people with an avenue to gain a better appreciation for our environment through the concept of water conservation and by sharing this caring sentiment through artwork. Contest is open to any student in grades K-12 (age 5-18) in the City of Pine Lake. The contest will run from May 15 – June 10. Contest Flyer Entry Form

Monarch Waystation
Sunday, August 26, 2018 - It's official: Pine Lake is now a Monarch Waystation! On a volunteer day organized by SEED, Pine Lake gardeners transformed the curb in front of t he city's Public Works Art Wall into a waystation. The native plants along Club House Drive will provide nourishment and shelter as the butterflies migrate across North America.
